Bio
Whether I’m volunteering with the Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep foundation, or working a high end sixteen hour wedding, there is nothing I am more focused, passionate or driven about than photography. What you see here on my blog is a compliation of many different things, including experiments, ideas or just glimpses into a session.
Yes, I am one of those photographers who was born with a “camera in hand”. My mother was a professional photographer with a very extensive education and her specialty was b&w photography. All I’ve ever known involved photography in some type of way, (most kids were playing with dolls, I was playing with star filters) so it was inevitable that I should follow in her footsteps.
While my style leans towards the traditional (simple lines, natural colors and capturing more photojournalistic moments as opposed to the stiff and posed/propped), I work to stay ahead of the game, while trying to avoid falling into the cliche’d traps of overstyling or over-”photoshopping”.
Life is a journey. I just want to shoot it all.
