When I first heard about it on the radio, I couldn’t believe my ears. Local radio stations here in Albuquerque, New Mexico were collecting bras from women (probably a few men too) for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, to string across the Montano Street Bridge to show support for Breast Cancer Research.

I took a long, cold walk to the bridge early this morning to capture a few images. I’ve shifted the colors a little in post production, to give them more of a surreal look, because let’s face it, it is not every day you see unmentionables along one of the most busiest streets in Albuquerque. For such a great cause, this was definitely worth the trip.

Lifestyle portrait session with two new models.

We trekked down to the Rio Grande Open Space here in Albuquerque, New Mexico to take advantage of the wonderful autumn colors and do a test run. I can’t wait for the opportunity to work with them again.

Natalie & JR are getting married next spring here in Albuquerque. They decided to get their fall engagement portraits taken on location out at the Rio Grande/Alameda open space area. We not only went on a great hike, but we caught a glimpse of the beautiful autumn colors that shimmer like a golden oasis in the desert.

Here are a few of my favorites:
